A Request for Proposal (RFP) is an efficient way for brands to let freelancers know that they’re accepting proposals to fill a role. Gone are the days of long, tedious, time-consuming RFPs— at least at Aureo. We utilize a custom, streamlined RFP form to provide freelancers with all the information they need to prepare a project proposal.
A clearly articulated RFP will help you find the right freelancer for your project AND save you time and money. Our form makes it easy for you to ensure you’re providing all the right information. Here’s a guide on how to use it effectively:
Tell us about your company.
To kick off our RFP form, we’lll ask you for your company name, website, indsury, description and values. We believe that finding someone who is aligned not only in skillset, but in their values as well, differentiates a great partnership from a good one. Take the time to share details on your company and what you stand for so we can share your RFP with the best freelancers for the job.
Highlight your current challenges..
Your RFP should give freelancers all the information they need to successfully build a proposal. Use our Challenges section to share what you’re currently struggling with. If you’re not getting enough sales, state that. If you’re noticing a lot of friction on your website, state that. Providing this context will make sure that we’re getting to the real root of the problem.
Describe the project needs.
Use our Project Details section to provide a quick description of the project request. This will likely be the first thing a freelancer reads when reviewing the RFP, so it should be a quick but informative overview. Our goal is to match you with expert freelancers in the niche you’re looking for support in, not just a jack of all trades. If there are any specific deadlines that they should know about, share them here, too.
Clearly outline your goals and expected deliverables.
What are you trying to achieve? What deliverables do you expect to walk away with? Our Goals and Deliverables page is the place for you to share exactly what you hope to get out of this project. Be clear, direct, and detailed in this section.
Share your budget.
We know budgets vary but having an idea of what you’re willing and able to spend upfront will help us match you with talent in your price range. Being transparent in this section will ensure that the delivered proposals are attainable and in-line with your expectations.we
The more detail you can provide in regards to the sections above, the better for finding your perfect match. And if you’re unsure how to articulate your unique needs, no sweat. Feel free to schedule a free planning call and we’ll walk through it together.
